Your mission
The challenge
As a Project Lead, research and applying advanced analytics and ‘big data’ techniques come naturally to you. You have an interest in the field of biopharmaceutical development, clinical trials, outcomes research, and real-world evidence and ‘big data’ challenges in healthcare. You want to impact appropriate drug use within healthcare institutions by executing drug uptake and epidemiology analysis, the standard of care and patient pathway analysis, therapy impact analysis and studies on outcomes and costs, and other research topics of pharmaceutical companies.
In your role as Project Lead, you are responsible for multiple clients with the aim to deliver our products, analytics, reports, and impact programs. Our clients are hospitals, healthcare insurers, and pharmaceutical companies. Your role, as part of the team, is to provide our clients with answers to questions, like
Planning and designing study protocols, analysis set-up, impact projects, proactively monitoring progress, resolving issues, and initiating appropriate corrective actions, defining the Project's governance are the main part of your job. You are, for example, the go-to person for our clients in supporting their questions and receiving their feedback to improve our NPS, being the linking pin between our analytical models and your clients. But also analyzing care pathways to deliver effective and appropriate care could be an important part of your activities.
Your goal is to ensure that our analytics, products, or services are of a prominent level of quality, and are delivered on time and within budget, in accordance with the project plan. Also, communications with all stakeholders, like third-party contributions to the project, and managing the dependencies and risks to the project's successful outcome are an important part of your responsibility.
Our team is constantly on the lookout for further product enhancements: How to facilitate easier data collection? How to generate more value from the data? What elements of information can we add to our products? You will be part of an international and ambitious team of commercial leads, project leads, (senior) analysts, medical leads, data engineers, and developers that share the mission of creating innovative analytical models that help our customers gain actionable insights into the complexity of their data.
The team
The Life Sciences team – currently consisting of 35 people – is growing enormously and is in full swing. The team is primarily responsible for gaining insights into the use and effect of (expensive) drugs. In view of the aging population, a significant increase in drug use and new drugs is expected – and a corresponding increase in costs. In order to keep these rising costs in check, it is essential to have a very clear picture of the exact effect of medicines. The data and dashboards of the Life Sciences team offer a solution for this.

- Which patient populations are eligible for the new drugs? How do these impact financial budgets?
- How are drugs used in the real world? What is the uptake of newly introduced medicine?
- What are the real-world clinical and patient outcomes? How do they compare to the trial results?
