Your impact and responsibilities
As Medical lead, you are keen to provide medical perspective and knowledge in the field of real world evidence and ‘big data’ challenges in healthcare. You want to have an impact on appropriate drug use within healthcare institutions, effectiveness of treatments and other research topics of pharmaceutical companies.
Your role, as part of the team, focuses on providing a medical perspective and pharmaceutical knowledge into our products and analytics to our customers. Researching “patient pathways” (from a medical/clinical perspective) with the goal of delivering effective care or understanding the effect of drugs in clinical practice could be an important part of your activities. You will, for example, help to set up real world evidence-based research programmes on an international level. Also building relationships with medical leads of pharmaceutical companies and key opinion leaders is an important aspect of your responsibilities. Your role, as part of the team, is to provide our clients with answers to research questions, like

● Which patient populations are eligible for the new drugs? How do these impact financial budgets?
● How are drugs used in the real world? What is the uptake of newly introduced medicine?
● What are the real world clinical and patient outcomes? How do they compare to the trial results?

You will be part of an International and ambitious team of commercial leads, associates, analysts, and developers that share the mission of creating innovative analytical models that help our customers gain actionable insights into the complexity of their data.
Your profile
  • MD degree; or Diploma in pharmaceutical medicine;
  • PhD degree within the field of real-world evidence on medicines is a plus;
  • Experience in interaction with health authorities;
  • 3-6 years’ working experience within a medical affairs or real world evidence role in Pharmaceutical / Biotech industry or medical sector;
  • Experience in writing study protocols and statistical analytical plans
  • Knowledge and understanding of disease areas where new medicines have big impact (like lung cancer, breast cancer etc.);
  • Demonstrated strategic approach to setting up research programs on disease areas / treatments, is a plus;
