Real World Data Operations Analyst

Permanent employee, Full-time · NL - Amsterdam

Our mission
At LOGEX, we support healthcare stakeholders with advanced analytical software, and turn data into better healthcare. With our insights, we make healthcare more affordable and better, and we improve the patient’s and clinicians’ experience.
To make confident healthcare decisions, hospitals and doctors need insights they can rely on, based on data that are reliable and secure.  Which means that at LOGEX, trust and privacy are at the heart of everything we do.
Your impact and responsibilities
As a data operations engineer, you ensure the correct data in these analyses.
Your responsibilities include:
  • Drawing and establishing data definitions through coordination with stakeholders both internally, with colleagues from all countries where LOGEX is active, and externally, with hospitals or other data suppliers.
  • Setting up, coordinating, and executing processing and validation for new data sources.
  • Identifying issues in existing data pipelines and implementing improvements together with the Data product & development teams
  • Supporting customers with data deliveries
  • Independently validating and analyzing the data with the aim of guaranteeing data quality standards
  • Implement the validated data and prepare it for products and analyses.
  • You are the go-to person for analysts with all their questions about data. You are a knowledge bearer about the data within our team. You know all the ins and outs, know exactly what the different fields entail and what the limitations are.
Your team
The potential for improving healthcare quality is great given the wide variations that exist among medications, providers in treatment decisions, healthcare costs, and patient outcomes. You will be part of the Real World Data team focusing on creating insights for providers of their own health outcomes and costs related to medication and treatments, and helping pharma companies to provide Real World Evidence if and where their medicine can best add value. Within the Real World Data team you’ll be part of the Data Operations Team who is responsible for getting high quality data. It is a highly motivated, results-oriented, and analytically strong team with a drive to improve healthcare. Many specific areas of expertise are represented within the team. This ensures both a deep and broad knowledge base within the team, allowing you to focus, maintain the challenge, but also learn from and support each other. We work with the semi-agile team in sprints with room for ad-hoc work.
Your profile
We trust that the following skills and qualifications will contribute to your success in this position:
  • Bachelor/MSc. diploma with a quantitative, science, research or (medical) technical background
  • You have at least 2 years relevant working experience, working with data
  • You have experience with coding in at least 1 coding language (Python, SQL)
  • You speak English fluently; Dutch is definitely a plus.
Features we appreciate:
  • You feel comfortable in an informal but professional environment where you have a lot of freedom and responsibility.
  • You are enthusiastic about advanced data analysis and solving 'big data' problems in healthcare
  • You learn quickly and are driven to continue developing
  • You are a real 'number cruncher' with excellent analytical skills and an eye for the completeness and quality of data.
  • You are a "team player", and feel comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders
  • You are results-oriented, with a structured way of working and a pragmatic mentality
We believe that eagerness to learn is more important than meeting all requirements. So even if you don't think you meet 100% of the criteria, we still invite you to apply. We look forward to your application.

  • 25 holidays (on a full-time basis) to recharge your batteries, with the possibility to buy extra holidays

  • Hybrid way of working
  • Laptop and home office supplies to create a comfortable and healthy work environment
